Job summary

Boys Town is seeking a part-time Bus Driver in Omaha, NE, to safely transport youth and staff to and from school, activities, and community events. A valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements and a good driving record are required, along with a minimum 21 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 21 years of age required.
• Valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements and a good driving record.
• Pass an annual MVR check.
• Previous driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport youth and staff in a school bus according to scheduled routes.
• Monitor passenger safety and behavior while maintaining a secure environment.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Administer basic first aid and follow all safety procedures when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with staff about transportation and youth needs.
