Job summary

Amergis seeks a School Behavior Aide to support students with special needs in a Bridgewater, NJ school setting. This part-time contract role runs 27.50 hours with a pay rate of $25 per hour.

The position collaborates with teachers and behavior specialists to implement educational and behavioral goals, following school protocols and safety standards. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, CPR if applicable, TB questionnaire, and compliance with federal, state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
