Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Behavior Aide to support students in a school setting. You will assist with educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs, under supervision, and help implement behavior plans.

This part-time role involves approximately 6 hours on site in Sacramento, working with school staff to foster learning and behavioral goals. A high school diploma is required; pediatric experience is preferred and CPR may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate educational and behavioral services for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning goals.
