Job summary

Boston Speech and Language Therapy in Northampton, MA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a part-time, 1099 contract role with 18 hours spread across three days. The role focuses on school-based PT to improve student mobility, access, and educational participation.

The PT will support students across multiple school settings, collaborate with educators and families, and help students succeed through targeted therapy plans and careful progress documentation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to 11-15 students across two school buildings.
• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with each student's educational goals.
• Collaborate with educators and families to support student mobility and access.
• Document progress, service delivery, and compliance with special education requirements.
• Coordinate A, B, and C grid services across a three-day weekly schedule.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their needs and recovery goals.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation plans based on assessment findings.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other therapists, physicians, and support staff to coordinate quality care.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery processes and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment plans and patient progress.
