Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy in Pottstown, PA is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to provide school-based therapy for a local school district, 1 day per week, with evaluations, make ups, and second sessions for elementary students.

The role collaborates with IEP teams, teachers, and parents to deliver targeted PT services and monitor progress in accordance with IDEA.

The position is 1099 independent contracting, offering flexibility and on-site mentorship.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Screen, assess, and evaluate students using appropriate tests and assessment instruments.
• Plan and provide PT techniques through individual and/or group sessions aligned with IEP goals.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to develop IEPs.
• Evaluate progress and determine readiness for termination of therapy services.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement classroom-based activities.
• Collaborate with parents in the PT program of the child.
• Compile and file reports and documents per law, policy, and need for equipment.
• Meet needs of all students by partnering with other disciplines.
• Comply with policies and stay updated with PT research and practices.
