Carolina Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Part-Time School-Based Occupational Therapist to provide services in Asheville-area charter schools. This role suits an OT who enjoys collaborating with educators, building relationships with students and families, and helping children develop classroom skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with the ability to collaborate with educators and families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to determine eligibility for school-based occupational therapy services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain timely documentation.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and classroom strategies to improve participation and independence.
