Job summary

Theracare Inc. in Indiana is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to support Wayne County School Systems.

The role involves delivering therapy services approximately 1.5 days per week across eligible facilities, with a focus on improving student outcomes and functional independence. The successful candidate will hold a state license, a degree in Occupational Therapy, and be able to collaborate with schools, parents, and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current state license/certification
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
• Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
• Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
