Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide to support students in a school setting in Dover, NH. This contract-full-time position offers $21 per hour and a 32.50-hour workweek under the supervision of the special education department and classroom staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with instructional and behavioral support, as well as providing personal and mobility assistance as needed, following guidance from health professionals and school administration.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional and/or behavioral support under supervision of the special education department and teachers.
• Support students with personal, physical mobility, and therapeutic care needs as directed by health professionals.
