KidzStuff Child Care is looking for an energetic, dependable, and caringPart-Time School-Age Teacher to join our afternoon team! If you enjoy helping children learn, build confidence, and have fun in a positive environment, we want to hear from you.
Must have School Age 45 Hour Training Methods and Materials and 45 Hour Training Child Growth and Development
May vary on days that school is closed.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for school-age children.
- Plan and lead educational, recreational, and enrichment activities.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities while ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support homework completion and encourage academic success.
- Foster children's social, emotional, and physical development through positive guidance and age-appropriate activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Complete attendance, required documentation, and other classroom responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma, GED, or college coursework from an accredited institution required.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with children in an approved setting, 30 college credit hours, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must meet all Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and Office of Child Care (OCC) requirements.
- Current certifications required: First Aid & CPR, Emergency Preparedness, Developmental Screening, and Medication Administration.
- Must successfully complete a medical examination, drug screening, and background check.
