Job summary

Stepping Stones is seeking a Part Time School Age Assistant Teacher for Hance Elementary in Gibsonia, PA. The role supports teachers by creating a caring, safe environment and helping implement activities for kindergarten through 3rd grade in the afternoon shift.

Responsibilities include classroom assistance, engagement in activities, cleanliness, safety, and collaboration with parents and staff. A high school diploma and 2,500 hours of experience are required, with CPR/First Aid certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working/volunteering with children.
• Willingness to complete a CDA, SAC or credit equivalent coursework.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

• Actively engage in activities inside and outside.

S/he must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment and develop positive relationships with the children and their parents.
