Stepping Stones Children’s Center, Inc. is seeking an Employment Type School Age Assistant Teacher/Assistant Group Supervisor in Gibsonia, PA.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 2:00pm–6:00pm at Hance Elementary, Pine Richland SD, with a $16.00/hour starting rate and a $500 signing bonus after 90 days plus another $500 after six months. The position supports teachers by creating a caring, safe environment for children, engaging in activities, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2,500 hours of professional experience with children.
• Willingness to complete a CDA, SAC or credit-equivalent coursework.
• High energy and ability to work well with others.
• Understanding of child development.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

• Assist in implementing curricula activities and encourage participation by children.
• Actively engage in activities inside and outside.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of classroom and materials.
• Communicate effectively with children to ensure safety and guidance.

S/he must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment and develop positive relationships with the children and their parents.
