Position Title

Team Member/Scent Consultant for Chicago’s very own Pour-Your-Own Custom Candle and Fragrance Making Experience at AURA Candle Bar.

Location

3338 N Southport Ave, Chicago — located in the Southport Corridor in Lakeview, just a 2-minute walk to/from the Brown Line at Southport Station.

Hours & Availability

Part-time positions available primarily on weekends, with occasional evening and required holiday availability.

Studio Hours

• Sunday: 12 - 5
• Monday: Closed
• Tue/Wed: 12-7
• Thur/Fri: 12 - 8
• Saturday: 11 - 8

Who We Are

AURA Candle Bar is a socially interactive, pour-your-own retail fragrance and candle making class experience bringing people together to explore and create with scent. We invite guests to custom-blend fragrances in our customer-'scentric' atmosphere.

Individuals that presently have a full-time job and are looking for additional part-time weekend work in a creative atmosphere. Completed bachelor's degree required.

From the initial greeting of guests as they enter the studio and guiding guests on their fragrance journeys to creating custom blends and knowing how to take exceptional care of yourself so that you can take exceptional care of guests.

Note: Custom fragrance blending training provided. AURA's ownership have been trained by the Grasse Institute of Perfumery located in Grasse, France.
