Job summary

PepsiCo in Dayville, CT is hiring for a manufacturing cleaner to support production of Lay's, Doritos and Cheetos. The role requires lifting, standing for long periods, and working on weekends with early start times.

You will clean equipment, sanitize lines, and maintain facilities to ensure safety and quality across shifts. Starting hours are 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday through Monday, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Weekend/holiday and off-shift availability required.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel and stretch for extended periods.
• Willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
• Environment with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment and lines to support production.
• Wipe down conveyors and clean the machines.
• Work with cleaning agents, strong chemicals, and hot water.
• Maintain buildings and some outdoor areas.

What You’ll Do

• Clean the equipment and lines necessary for manufacturing products
• Wipe down metal conveyors, as well as clean the machine itself
• Work with strong, corrosive chemicals, hot water, and cleaning agents
• Maintain and clean buildings and some outside landscaping
