Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is hiring a Part-Time Sanitation Worker to support weekend operations. You will clean production tools and equipment in the Steam Room and assist with general sanitation while following GMP guidelines.

Shift timing is 10:30 pm Friday to 7:00 am Saturday and 10:30 pm Saturday to 7:00 am Sunday, with a rate of $22.65 per hour. A high school diploma or GED is required; prior sanitation experience is preferred; benefits available from day one.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for the full 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble equipment for cleaning and re-assembly.
• Perform general sanitation of plant work areas.
• Wash tools and equipment moved from production lines to Steam Rooms.
• Handle janitorial tasks and operate floor scrubbers as needed.
• Follow GMPs, chemical dilution procedures and PPE requirements.

JOB TITLE: Part-Time Sanitation Worker - weekends $22.65/hr

GRADE/LEVEL: Hourly

General Summary

Cleaning production tools and mixing equipment in Steam Room Graveyard shift, normal schedule is 10:30 pm Friday night to 7:00 am Saturday, and 10:30 pm Saturday night to 7 am Sunday.

Primary Responsibilities

• Main duties include disassembling equipment for cleaning and re-assembly.
• May include general sanitation of plant work areas.
• May also be assigned to perform washing tools and equipment brought from the food production lines to the Steam Rooms and cleaning equipment during shift changeovers.
• Additionally, this individual will be assigned duties which include general janitorial tasks such as mopping, sweeping, filling soap and paper towel dispensers, operating auto floor scrubbers throughout the facility, and other tasks as assigned by supervision.
• Must comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, chemical dilution and mixing procedures, appropriate wearing of Personal Protective Equipment, follow lockout tag out procedures and pass all required training for the position within 3 months of hire date.
• Must comply with all safety and quality good manufacturing practices guidelines.

Minimum Education Required

Must have obtained high school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Minimum Experience Required

Experience with cleaning or sanitation tasks preferred.

Other Minimum Requirements

Ability to grip/grasp pressure cleaning hoses, maneuver equipment to cleaning room, stand/walk during all the eight-hour shift.
