Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Assists Store Management with in-store supervision including directing personnel. Provides effective leadership to all associates. Displays the highest level of customer service in all areas. This position functions as a front-line member of the Retail Store Leadership Team at our Wynnewood Village location in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities
  1. Greets and assists guests in selection and purchase of merchandise.
  2. Resolves guest issues effectively.
  3. Keeps supervisor informed of product, guest, and personnel issues.
  4. Monitors and approves guest returns according to retail policies.
  5. Monitors associates' guest service levels and provides feedback.
  6. Utilizes GUESTS program during guest interactions and handling guest-owned jewelry.
  7. Prepares and reviews supply orders from the JAC warehouse and other channels.
  8. Performs store opening and closing leadership responsibilities.
  9. Provides training to associates emphasizing guest service and sales; delegates tasks.
  10. Assists in inventory processes, including cycle counts and adjustments, following company procedures.
  11. Participates in store meetings and company events.
  12. Develops team-building activities.
  13. Monitors product trends and communicates changes to District Manager.
Product Care
  • Operates service equipment and trains staff accordingly.
  • Ensures product care services meet standards.
Visual Merchandising
  • Manages display setup and maintenance per guidelines.
  • Maintains store presentation standards.
Additional Duties
  • Processes employee purchases and manages schedules in the absence of higher management.
  • Ensures security procedures are followed.
  • Communicates effectively, demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Adheres to safety and company policies.
Other Responsibilities
  • Leads in absence of other leaders.
  • Builds relationships with stakeholders.
  • Collaborates across teams and assists as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; retail or customer service experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Passes background and drug screenings prior to employment.
