Job summary

Rimrock seeks a Safety Coordinator to maintain on-site safety across all facilities, monitor access, and support emergency response during varied shifts. The role enforces safety policies, conducts rounds, observes cameras, de-escalates incidents, and reports to the Safety Manager.

Flexibility for overnight and weekend shifts may be required; excellent communication and vigilance are essential to protect staff and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; prior safety experience.
• Attend monthly departmental sessions and in-services.
• View non-violent crisis intervention training materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site presence and monitor safety across Rimrock facilities.
• Monitor video surveillance and respond to suspicious activity.
• Communicate with staff via telephone and walkie talkie.
• Check doors, secure premises, and set alarms after hours.
• Report incidents immediately to supervisors and nurse on duty.
• Escort emergency personnel when needed.
