Job summary

Rock Spot Climbing in Boston is seeking a part-time Route Setter to help with resets at Dedham and Brookline locations. You’ll ensure routes are fun and safe, meeting Rock Spot Climbing standards and following the Setter Handbook.

We value climbers with setting experience and strong skills, able to commute between sites. A path to a full-time, benefits-eligible role may be available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a skilled climber and setter who aims for high-quality fun and challenging routes.
• Experience in route setting and the ability to work between two Boston locations is preferred.
• Must be able to lift and move climbing holds and set equipment as part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to outstanding resets from start to finish with attention to safety protocols.
• Ensure climbs are fun and safe, aligning with Rock Spot Climbing standards.
• Open to feedback and follow directions from management and regional setters.
