St. Peter's Health Partner's is seeking a part-time Cook for Heritage House in Troy, NY on a rotating shift. This role involves preparing meals, coordinating with front-of-house staff, and ensuring quality service for guests.

Minimum requirements include food service or customer service experience, a culinary degree or accredited course, and strong English reading/writing skills. Pay ranges from $16.70 to $20.36 per hour, depending on experience.

Formación

Experience in food service and customer service preferred.
Culinary degree or accredited culinary course preferred.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to read and write English at a minimum 6th grade level.

Responsabilidades

Create and prepare food items and liaise with front-of-house to ensure proper service.
Clean food preparation areas as required by law and policy.
Prepare foods to client specifications and accommodate dietary needs.
Manage kitchen staff and assist other cooks during meal assembly.
Season, portion and garnish foods according to recipes and company needs.
Order ingredients and spices as needed and maintain records of purchases.
Operate kitchen equipment and contribute to new recipes.
Stays open until the last customer leaves and contributes to menu development.
