Job summary

St. Peter’s Health Partners - Heritage House in Troy, NY is hiring a Part-time Food Service Worker (Per-Diem).

Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitation of the food service area, dishwashing, and assisting with meal service while ensuring food safety and quality. Minimum requirements include food service and customer service experience, ability to read/write English, and following instructions; working papers may be required if under 18.

Qualifications

• Food service and customer service experience is preferred.
• Working papers required if under 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and write English at a minimum 6th grade level.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning and sanitation of the food service area.
• May include setting and clearing tables, dishwashing, sweeping and mopping.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery with correct portioning and food temps.
• Follow HACCP and food safety procedures; store foods properly.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and cooperate with coworkers and managers.
