ASH Hotels is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for Hotel Ulysses in Baltimore. You will clean and service guest rooms, restock supplies, and maintain public areas while ensuring guest privacy and safety. The role requires strong communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to work some weekends and holidays.

Compensation includes hourly pay with tips, plus vacation days, sick days, holidays, and hotel discounts. 401k with company match is offered.

Formación

• Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.

About the role

What you'll do

• Cleaning and servicing all guest rooms, removing soiled linen and trash, following company standards for these tasks
• Making up rooms following standard operating procedures and according to management and/or guest requests
• Cleaning public areas and back-of-house at Swann House as requested
• Keeping housekeeping closets and office areas well organized and free of clutter
• Use amenities and cleaning products in a controlled and safe way
• Assist guests with requests whenever possible
• Respect guest privacy and security at all times
• Follow all safety and security protocols at all times

• Can work hours that will spread over weekdays, weekends and holidays

• Enjoys and thrives in an environment where service, creativity, optimism and design are the cues for outstanding guest experiences
• Has exceptional communication skills - there is no such thing as over communicating
• Must be able to communicate and interact in English. The tone is positive and courteous, always genuine to provide service and assistance
• Must be able to perform well while working with little or no supervision
• Must be able to lift-up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Must be able to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods of time. Requires grasping, writing, typing / keying, extended periods of standing, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, and visual acuity

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Compensations

• The pay range for this role is: $16 USD per hour plus tips (Hotel Ulysses)
• Annually: 5 vacation days, 5 paid sick days, 11 paid holidays
• 401k with 4% company match, dollar for dollar
