Job summary

Azalea Health & Rehab in Metter, GA is seeking a part-time RN to assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing staff activities and coordination of patient care. You will admit, discharge and transfer patients, supervise licensed and unlicensed staff, and ensure accurate documentation and communication with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• RN degree or graduate of an approved RN program.
• Active RN license to practice in Georgia.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in organizing day-to-day nursing staff operations.
• Admit, discharge and transfer patients as requested.
• Coordinate care planning with physicians and oversee documentation and billing tasks.
• Communicate with families and arrange transportation for doctor appointments.
• Provide supervision and education to licensed and unlicensed staff.
