Job summary

Singing River Health System in Pascagoula, MS is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. You will provide patient care using the Nursing Process, collaborate with the care team, and support patient outcomes in a busy unit.

Requirements: NLN-school graduate, MS RN license, current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP certifications as listed; minimum 1 year inpatient experience preferred; strong communication and de-escalation skills; ability to work day shift 7AM-7PM.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP certifications often required depending on unit.
• Minimum 1 year inpatient clinical experience; with preference for recent practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process to improve health outcomes.
• Collaborate with the care team and report to the Patient Care Manager.
• Supervise and support LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, and Unit Technicians as applicable.
• Maintain de-escalation training and high standards of patient safety and infection control.
