Job summary

Singing River Health System in Pascagoula, MS, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Comprehensive Rehab Unit on a full-time days shift (7AM–7PM). The RN provides patient care using the Nursing Process and adheres to MS Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and the organization’s ethics.

Requires MS RN license, BCLS, ACLS/PALS/TNCC as applicable, and 1 year of inpatient experience. Orientation includes de-escalation training and completion of all required certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification; specialty area certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required.
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient clinical experience within the past 5 years or evidence of a successful refresher program.
• Must complete de-escalation training by the end of orientation (90 days).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with MS Nurse Practice Act, ANA Standards, and ANA Code of Ethics.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Patient Care Manager and medical team.
• Work with LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, and Unit Technicians to ensure safe, effective care.
• Maintain high standards of infection control, patient safety, and documentation.
