Job summary

Connections in Ohio, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to support staff with medication administration training and medication management. The role requires flexibility, a reliable vehicle, and teamwork.

This is a part-time position with a starting wage of $40.00 per hour for 15–20 hours per week, offering competitive wages, paid leave, health benefits and a 401k plan. The RN will train Direct Support Professionals, assist with injections, coordinate with the full-time RN, and maintain on-call

Qualifications

• A current Registered Nurse license.
• A current DoDD Trainer certification for Direct Support Professional Medication Passing course.
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of iPhone, Windows, and Microsoft Office including OneDrive, Excel, Word.
• Routing texting/phone calls.
• Google Calendar proficiency.
• A valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less on the individual BMV driving record.
• A safe, reliable vehicle coupled with state minimum required auto insurance covering that specific vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medication Administration Certification training to Direct Support Professional bi-weekly for two days.
• Assist with administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections to company clients weekly as needed.
• Assist with other health related activities as needed in coordination with company full-time RN.
• Maintain on call responsibilities, including making decisions related to medication administration and health care needs
