Job summary

Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services in Illinois is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide patient care and care coordination for a designated group of patients from 8 am to 5 pm on Thursdays and Fridays at Onarga and Paxton.

The RN will perform assessments, implement the nursing process, delegate and supervise care, and participate in staff development and PI activities to ensure safe, quality care.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment and data collection focusing on patient status.
• Applies nursing process to plan and deliver care.
• Evaluates care effectiveness and identifies improvements.
• Demonstrates competency in clinical skills per standards.
• Instructs patient and family on self-care needs.
