Silver Foxes Senior Living & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for part-time shifts at 609 S Marshall Ave, McLeansboro, IL. RN wages: $32.00–$34.00/hr; LPN wages: $28.00–$30.00/hr plus evening and night differentials.

The RN/LPN will deliver high-quality nursing care per physician orders and care plans, monitor residents, document care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a facility focused on dignity and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active, and unrestricted RN or LPN license in Illinois.
• Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Must maintain CPR/BLS certification as required by facility policy.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, infection control, and resident safety.
• Must possess strong organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
• Must be able to accurately document resident care and maintain confidential medical records.
• Must meet background check and employment eligibility requirements.
• Must be able to perform essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established standards of nursing practice.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and authorized providers.
• Monitor, assess, and document residents' physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
• Identify and promptly report changes in resident conditions to the appropriate physician, supervisor, and responsible parties.
• Participate in developing, implementing, and updating individualized resident care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform wound care, medication administration, treatments, and other nursing procedures within licensure.
• Supervise and provide guidance to CNAs and other assigned nursing staff within the scope of the nurse's role.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system, including PCC.
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges, transfers, and ongoing assessments.
• Follow infection prevention and control practices, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain HIPAA, resident rights, and facility policies.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, families, and coworkers.
• Perform additional nursing duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.
