Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Huttonsville Correctional Center in Huttonsville, WV. This role requires 1 shift per week with a premium differential, offering meaningful, hands-on care in a correctional setting.

As an RN, you will assess patients, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare and correctional staff to maintain safety and quality of care. Active RN license and CPR are required; correctional experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice is required.
• Active CPR certification is required.
• Strong clinical skills and communication abilities for high-pressure settings.
• Compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead, teach, and advocate for patients within the facility.
• Assess physical/mental health needs and administer medications.
• Guide treatment plans from start to finish and coordinate referrals.
• Support patient education and safety standards across the unit.
• Mentor staff and respond to crises to maintain high-quality care.
