Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. in Huttonsville, WV is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join Huttonsville Correctional Center. You will assess health needs, administer medications, and guide treatment plans from start to finish while collaborating with healthcare and correctional staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice (correctional setting preferred).

Position Summary

As a Registered Nurse in our facility, you’ll do more than care for patients—you’ll lead, teach, and advocate. Working closely with healthcare and correctional staff, you’ll assess physical/mental health needs, administer medications, and guide treatment plans from start to finish. You’ll play a key role in supporting patient education, making timely referrals, and helping maintain safety and standards across the unit. Whether you’re managing medications, mentoring staff, or responding to a crisis, your skills will make a real impact every day.

What You’ll Need

• Active unrestricted RN license in state of practice and 1-2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred).
• Active CPR certification.
• Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high-pressure settings.
• A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.
