Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for home health services in Danbury, CT. Provide high-quality clinical care within scope, coordinate with care team from admission to discharge, and complete assessments per program requirements.

Requirements include an active RN license in CT, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Preference for 1+ year RN experience and strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ensure patient/client eligibility and medical necessity for services as defined by payer and agency policy


• Develop and revise individualized plans of care/service plans with other community providers


• Ensure plan of care frequency and duration meets patient needs and initiate revisions with physician approval

Required Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice


• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation


• Current CPR certification


• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of RN experience


• Able to work independently


• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills

The hourly pay for this role will range from $39.45 to $59.15 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
