Job summary

Nemasket Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Middleborough, Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time position in a subacute unit. The RN will provide high-quality care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support the care plan for residents.

Requirements include MA RN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of geriatric or rehabilitation experience. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• At least 1 year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation is preferred.
• Strong reading, writing and comprehension of English; ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Transcribe, document, and implement physician orders.
• Collect data to assist nursing assessments each shift.
• Provide daily shift reports to CNAs and review resident assignments.
• Collaborate with Care Plan Coordinator to develop/maintain care plans.
• Attend interdisciplinary resident care conferences as requested.
• Assist attending physicians with rounds and procedures as needed.
• Participate in staff development and training for nursing personnel.
• Document disciplinary concerns with nursing staff under supervision.
• Notify nursing supervisor, physician, and family of changes in resident condition or incidents.
