Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the General Surgery 3W unit in St. Louis, Missouri.

This part-time role offers night shift coverage (7:00pm–7:00am) with a 24-hour weekly schedule and opportunities to contribute to a collaborative care team. The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program degree, an active RN license (state or compact), and a BLS certification within 30 days of hire, plus at least 2 years of patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
