Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a medical office setting.
• Current State of Tennessee Registered Nurse License required.
• Experience using EHR and Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and updates patient records using electronic medical records (EMR).
• Contacts patients regarding test results or other related reasons as directed.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and records vital signs (pulse, BP, height, weight).
• Performing procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, Holter monitoring.
• Administering medications and conducting patient education.
• Maintains stocked, neat exam rooms and work areas daily.
• Handles phone nursing, triage, pre-certifications, referrals, prescriptions.
• Adheres to company policies, OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
