Job summary

Hawarden Regional Healthcare in Hawarden, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse for part-time or full-time hospital care. The role involves providing nursing care to swing bed, observation, and skilled patients, following the nursing process and HIPAA standards, with a rotating day/night schedule and a sign-on bonus.

The RN will assess patient needs, document care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality outcomes in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse maintaining current state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC preferred or required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adherence to HRH policies.
• Prioritize assessments to determine patient health status.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses accurately.
• Delegate tasks to qualified team members and supervise as needed.
• Lead in emergencies/crises and participate in CQI activities.
