Job summary

Sandy Health and Rehab in Sandy, Utah is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a part-time 6am–12pm shift to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents requiring long-term and short-term nursing support.

You will administer medications, monitor treatments, document care, and collaborate with a friendly team. The role requires an active RN license in Utah, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and good English reading/comprehension.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Utah.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information in English.
• Experience in long-term geriatric nursing preferred.
• Physical ability to stand, move, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, treatments, and IV lines.
• Record time spent on treatments and document on the medication/treatment record.
• Ensure proper storage and security of drugs per policies.
• Notify physician of medication/treatment issues or adverse reactions promptly.
• Keep medication cart, refrigerator, and room neat and properly stored.
• Assist in orientation and training of new nursing staff.
• Practice and supervise infection control and safety policies.
