Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the State of Maine.
• ACLS and BLS certification or obtains within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to work a casual part-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in ambulatory or perioperative care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and reviews health status during Pre-Admission Screening or admission.
• Admits patient to unit and verifies identity with name and date of birth.
• Verifies lab work, permits, H&P, and pre-op checklist are complete.
• Measures vitals and allergies; informs relevant personnel as needed.
• Directs patients to proper departments for prescribed exams and care.
