Job summary

Mass General Hospital in Boston seeks an experienced RN to join our patient-care team. The role includes injections, blood draws, and some endocrinal testing, with in-basket management for prescriptions and patient messages.

You will maintain accurate records, administer medications, monitor patients, and collaborate with the healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring safe, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of previous RN experience strongly preferred.
• Endocrine experience strongly preferred.
• Injections.
• Blood draws (infusion as needed).
• Some Endocrinal testing.
• In-Basket Management (prescription refills, patient messages, clinical messaging).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
