Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for day shift at our West Virginia facility.

You will perform nursing assessments, collaborate with the nursing team and families, and develop effective plans of care for residents. You will administer medications and treatments per physician orders, delegate responsibilities to staff, and ensure smooth communication of patient information across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current RN license with State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize readmissions and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
