Job summary

Sevita’s ResCare Community Living in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing services and lead health-related supports for individuals with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs.

You will assess needs, implement care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to promote health and independence. A California RN license and CPR/First Aid are required, with at least one year of relevant experience. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program required.
• Experience with medically complex individuals preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration and healthcare protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical assessments and assist with community placement.
• Develop and implement service plans with physicians and supervise medical components.
• Maintain nursing records and review medication administration records.
• Promote health and wellness and ensure nursing actions are followed.
• Administer medications per established guidelines and document appropriately.
• Coordinate with primary care physicians and specialists; attend doctor visits when needed.
