Job summary

This role involves mentoring future Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) by delivering core nursing theory and leading simulation lab activities. Candidates must possess a current RN license in Colorado, a Master's in Nursing preferred, and at least three years of direct patient care experience. The position offers a flexible schedule, competitive pay of $40.00 to $46.89 per hour, and a supportive environment for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current, active, unencumbered RN license in Colorado.
• Minimum of three years of practical patient care experience.
• Experience in teaching or high-fidelity simulation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures according to the Practical Nursing curriculum.
• Facilitate simulation lab activities for skills mastery.
• Provide academic advising and support for student progression.
• Coach students for successful NCLEX-PN completion.
• Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to program excellence.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to mentor and coach students

Experience in delivering nursing curriculum

Knowledge of NCLEX-PN exam preparation

Education

Master’s in Nursing (MSN) preferred

Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) with commitment to MSN
