Job summary

The Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse for part-time shifts. You will provide direct resident care, oversee licensed treatments for up to 30 residents, and lead a team of aides and licensed staff to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Current Iowa RN licensure.
• Experience in geriatric resident care preferred.
• Ability to mentor CNAs, LPNs and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee licensed treatments for residents.
• Assess resident conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and team for optimal outcomes.
• Lead and mentor Resident Aides, CNAs, Medication Aides, and LPNs.
• Respond to acute changes with professionalism and compassion.
