Job summary

HP is hiring a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Canoga Park, CA to drive sales of HP products inside Best Buy stores. You will demonstrate products, engage customers, and build relationships with store staff while reporting sales activity and maintaining attractive demos.

The position offers up to 15 hours per week with flexible weekday shifts and occasional weekends, plus weekly performance bonuses and additional benefits like daily pay options and tech reimbursements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy stores.
• Engage and build rapport with customers by creating a memorable experience.
• Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within the assigned store.
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services.
• Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo-readiness.
• Report and provide competitive insights.
• Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers and fellow employees.
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis.
• Escort customers to displays; assess needs and suggest products.
• Advise customers by providing information on products and services.
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence.
• Document and report sales accurately.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations.
• Ensure workstation/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional and presentable at all times.
