Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor to support the management team in delivering an excellent customer experience and driving sales at the Wyomissing store. You will help execute store operations, mentor associates, and maintain appealing visual standards while promoting brand loyalty.

The role reports to the Store Manager and requires flexible availability including evenings and weekends. You will model core values and contribute to a collaborative, energetic team environment.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in similar volume, apparel business is preferred.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
• Flexible availability to meet business needs (evenings and weekends).
• May require occasional travel to other store locations.

Responsibilities

• Support the management team to achieve sales results and grow the business.
• Understand and demonstrate product knowledge, selling and operational skills to maximize sales.
• Engage with customers to build relationships and brand loyalty using company tools.
• Be a role model to team members for the customer experience.
• Support the management team to ensure store standards for merchandising and operations are met consistently.
• Be accountable for assigned tasks and results.
• Learn about all aspects of the business and share ideas to drive it forward.
• Create a positive work environment with a professional attitude.
• Perform POS transactions on designated shifts and execute supervisor functions in the absence of the Store Manager.
