Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Rochester Hills, MI is hiring a part-time Retail Store Processor. You will process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals while working a 25-hour week including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include tagging and pricing merchandise, tracking production, stocking sales floors, and assisting with loading/unloading.

Qualifications

• Ability to process donated merchandise.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Flex schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift, bend, reach and move merchandise.

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
