Position: Retail Staff Member

The Retail Staff Member will work closely with our Taproom Manager, Assistant Managers, and the rest of our team to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests. This role offers an energetic environment where dedication, flexibility, humor, and strong communication skills are valued.

Our facility is located in Saratoga Springs, near popular destinations like Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Spa State Park, and Saratoga Race Course. It features both indoor and outdoor spaces to showcase our renowned products.

This is a part-time position, ideally requiring availability 3-4 days per week, primarily during nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing a welcoming, knowledgeable experience for guests, with excellent customer service and enthusiasm for the Tree House brand
• Educating customers about Tree House’s history, philosophy, and beers
• Handling can packing, sales, and checkout processes
• Pouring drafts accurately and efficiently, with care for the product
• Assessing flavor profiles and guiding customer choices
• Maintaining clean facilities and organizing inventory
• Fostering a friendly and welcoming environment
• Performing various retail tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
• Refined beer palate and strong communication skills
• Bartending experience with TIPS certification preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Self-motivated, quick learner, capable of working independently
• Excellent multitasking and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of craft beer and passion for artisan products
• Flexible schedule, especially nights and weekends

Availability during peak hours, especially Thursday through Sunday, is required. Compensation is $20/hour plus tips, with participation in bonus programs and benefits.
