Job summary

ScanScape is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate for Slayton, MN 56172. You will visit local stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisles, contributing to data that helps retailers improve sales performance.

The role offers flexible hours, travel paid at your hourly rate (minus first and last 15 minutes), and opportunities such as a 401(k) plan and a referral program. You’ll work 18+ hours per week across assigned stores, with variations by workload.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with auto insurance coverage.
• Able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet high.
• Able to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Access to reliable Wi‑Fi and basic tech skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles using a mobile app.
• Perform in-store data collections for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Complete Display Scanning across the whole store weekly; this can require several hours.
• Assist with Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours per store during busy weeks.
• Report to stores within deadlines and maintain data quality for clients.
