BuddiesHR in Mesquite, TX is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit local grocery and convenience stores, scanning barcodes with a mobile app. The base hours average 6–15 per week, with occasional extra hours for projects.

You’ll work independently, travel paid at your hourly rate, and support clients with accurate in‑store data. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and Wi‑Fi are required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and reach items throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet high.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists and arms.
• Detail oriented and able to work independently with deadlines.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores weekly to scan product barcodes.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes and log quantities.
• Complete in‑store data collection across multiple retailer types.
• Meet weekly deadlines with accuracy for client reporting.
• Paid travel at the hourly rate (minus minutes).
