Job summary

Circana is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores and scan product barcodes to support in-store analytics. The role emphasizes independence, flexible scheduling, and consistent weekly activity across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandisers.

Shifts average 2.5 hours bi-weekly per store, with additional hours for special projects throughout the year; scheduling is discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• In-store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks, including holiday weeks.
• Scan barcodes using a downloadable app and report quantities for about 45% of products scanned.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store weekly, which can take several hours.
• Custom Projects may add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work in peak weeks.
• Work with major brand retailers like Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons, and other national chains.
