Job summary

US Foods is seeking a CHEF’S STORE Sales Associate in Idaho. You will support front-end checkout, assist customers, stock shelves, and ensure product quality. The role involves rotating among departments such as Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, and Dry Goods, with emphasis on safety and service.

Weekend and holiday availability is required. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour for a part-time position offering 20-30 hours weekly, with opportunities to learn and grow within a customer-focused team.

Qualifications

Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Strong customer service and math aptitude.
Basic computer skills and cash handling experience.
Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

Front End: Ensure an impeccable CHEF’S STORE experience and assist customers at checkout.
Sales Floor & Stocking: Receive inventory, stock shelves, rotate product, and assist customers.
Customer Courtesy: Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and helpful service.
Perform cashier tasks using POS systems and ensure accurate scanning and pricing.
Assist with opening/closing duties and participate in price changes as directed.
