Job summary

CHEF’S STORE in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Part-Time Front End Associate to help customers with a friendly, efficient shopping experience. You’ll manage sales at the POS, assist in stocking, and maintain a clean store while promoting services.

This role requires weekend and holiday availability, frequent lifting up to 80 pounds, and a typical schedule of 20–30 hours per week with starting pay at $16.49 per hour. Previous retail experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
• One year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide an impeccable CHEF’S STORE experience by building relationships with customers and using store tools.
• Perform sales and cash functions at the POS accurately, including scanning and price checks.
• Handle front-end duties such as opening/closing per shift and cart checks.
• Assist in stocking and inventory tasks, rotate stock, and maintain shelf quality.
• Maintain clean, safe store conditions and assist with price changes as directed.
• Support customers and other employees to meet store goals and minimize shrinkage.
