Position Overview

Part Time Retail Sales Merchandiser – a self‑motivated professional who will service and sell to retail accounts within an assigned territory, ensuring client standards are met and sales volumes are increased. The role works with a leading consumer packaged goods client, covering categories such as Grocery, Personal Care, and Frozen Food.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $16.50–$19.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with store personnel to support a positive brand image.
• Execute sales and merchandising jobs promptly and in line with client growth initiatives.
• Meet or exceed sales goals by increasing in‑store visibility of client products and promotions.
• Ensure products are stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and displayed according to schematics.
• Manage time and prioritize store visits to maximize coverage.
• Prepare and respond to audits, and complete accurate paperwork and reports.
• Communicate effectively with internal management and external customers to resolve issues.
• Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and all applicable laws.
• Support the creation of impactful action plans and innovative marketing strategies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; 1–2 years of retail sales or merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task, with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Adaptability to changing demands and client goals.
• Works independently and as part of a larger team.
• Self‑starter with a bias for action and results orientation.
• Basic knowledge of retail merchandising and/or sales.
• Proficient with email and basic internet skills.

Location & Travel

Raleigh, North Carolina 27601, United States.
Travel up to 20% of the time is required. Must maintain a current driver’s license and valid proof of insurance.
